AI & Service Disclosure

1. Nature of the Service

ThirteenEight is self-help software provided by Virtue Tank, LLC. The Company is not a law firm, does not render legal, financial, or credit-counseling advice, and does not act as your agent or representative with respect to any Consumer Reporting Agency (as defined in 15 U.S.C. § 1681a(f)), creditor, Furnisher (15 U.S.C. § 1681s-2), or debt collector. The determination of whether to send any letter, and the act of sending it, rest solely with you.

2. No Guarantee of Results

THE COMPANY MAKES NO REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY, OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, THAT ANY INFORMATION WILL BE CORRECTED OR DELETED FROM YOUR CONSUMER REPORT, THAT YOUR CREDIT SCORE OR SCORES WILL CHANGE, THAT ANY DEBT WILL BE REDUCED, SETTLED, OR CANCELLED, OR THAT ANY RESULT WILL ACCRUE WITHIN ANY PARTICULAR PERIOD. Consumer Reporting Agencies and Furnishers make their own determinations pursuant to applicable law. Accurate and timely reported information may lawfully remain on a consumer report. No outcome is promised, and none should be inferred.

3. Your Rights Under Federal Law

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. ("FCRA"), you have the statutory right to dispute incomplete or inaccurate information directly with a Consumer Reporting Agency free of charge (15 U.S.C. § 1681i(j)), and the agency generally must conduct a reasonable reinvestigation unless it reasonably determines the dispute to be frivolous or irrelevant (15 U.S.C. § 1681i(a)). Furnishers of information bear corresponding duties of accuracy and investigation under 15 U.S.C. § 1681s-2. You may obtain free copies of your consumer reports at AnnualCreditReport.com, and additional guidance is available from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov. You are not required to use ThirteenEight, or to pay any person, in order to exercise these rights. The Company is not a credit repair organization acting on your behalf within the meaning of the Credit Repair Organizations Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1679 et seq.

4. Use of Artificial Intelligence

The Company offers optional AI-assisted features, including the conversion of your own narrative description of a disputed item into a draft dispute statement and, where enabled, the reading of documents you upload. When you invoke such features:

  • the text or file you submit is transmitted from our servers to a third-party AI model provider via the Lovable AI Gateway solely for the purpose of generating a response;
  • the model is instructed to rely exclusively upon facts you have furnished and to denote missing facts with bracketed placeholders rather than fabricating them;
  • the AI does not determine what information is accurate, does not author your final letter autonomously, and does not select which statutes, if any, to cite;
  • we employ automated measures to mask Social Security numbers in AI output prior to storage, without warranting complete detection.

Final letters are assembled by deterministic, fixed templates from facts you confirm. Any legal reference appearing in a letter derives solely from a reviewed, administratively approved list, and never from AI output.

5. Limitations of AI Output

Machine-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You bear sole responsibility for reading every suggestion, correcting any statement that is not true and correct, and completing any bracketed placeholder prior to use. AI output does not constitute legal advice and must not be relied upon as such. You are solely responsible for the truthfulness of every statement contained in letters you execute and transmit.

6. Data Transmitted to AI Providers

You are instructed not to include full Social Security numbers, complete account numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information in any text you submit. The Company has not confirmed zero-data-retention arrangements with its AI providers and makes no representation that such providers retain no data. Additional detail appears in our Privacy Policy.

7. Bureau Addresses

Consumer Reporting Agency mailing addresses displayed within the Service are provided for convenience only and are subject to change without notice. You must independently confirm the current dispute address on the applicable bureau's official website prior to mailing.
